How was World Pranic Healing Foundation born?
Pranic Healing has been described as a simple and yet very powerful technology that can be employed with immediate benefits to the patients. This quality of Pranic Healing makes it the perfect Healing modality for millions of people suffering from a variety of illnesses who have no access to medicine. It was with this idea in mind that Grand Master Choa Kok Sui decided to bring Pranic Healing to the poor and under developed areas of the world.
Thus was born the World Pranic Healing Foundation on July 23, 1990, with a humble beginning where the office was started with only one table and a chair, shared by about 6 employees. They had to use the stack of Pranic Healing books as their chairs during staff meetings. But what they lacked in logistical support, they more than made up for, in terms of Devotion and will-to-do-good. In its first year alone, the Foundation was able to produce more than 3,000 graduates from seven different regions of the Philippines. Initially funded by Master Choa and the Institute for Inner Studies, Incorporated (IISI) which was established on 27 April 1987 by Master Choa Kok Sui, the Foundation eventually attracted other benefactors enabling the organization to continue the work of propagating Pranic Healing throughout the Philippines as well as in other developing countries like Indonesia, India, and parts of Africa and Asia.
To date, the Foundation, in addition to its branch office in India, has been able to help spread Pranic Healing in Indonesia, Bhutan, Nepal, Malaysia, Hongkong, Thailand, Srilanka, Singapore, UAE, Qatar, Bahrain, Oman, Saudi Arabia, Iran, Lebanon, Syria, Jordan, Cyprus, Turkey, Egypt, Morocco, China, Pakistan, The Gambia, Benin, Ivory Coast, Burkina Faso, Niger, Ghana, Togo, Nigeria, Senegal, Kenya, Rwanda, Zambia, Tanzania, Mauritius and South Africa. Pranic Healing will continue to expand and spread out in the next few years to more and more countries.
World Pranic Healing Foundation Today
Today, the Foundation has generated hundreds of thousands of Pranic Healing graduates, and inspired, with Master Choa’s blessings, many donors from among the Pranic Healing graduates from around the world. The Foundation has established healing centers in other parts of the Philippines : the Cebu Pranic Healing Center in Cebu City on the island of Cebu established in 1992, and the World Pranic Healing Foundation Region 6 Branch in Iloilo City on the island of Panay, started January 2001. In addition, the 1st international branch office was established in Bangalore, India in 2009 (World Pranic Healing India).
The World Pranic Healing Foundation, India is tasked to help spread Pranic Healing in other parts of the region not covered by the Indian Pranic Healing foundations, including the Middle East, and Africa.
With the support of its donors, the Foundation has not only been able to continue its international operations in developing countries, but has finally been able to purchase its own office. The International headquarters of the World Pranic Healing Foundation is now located at 2210 Medical Plaza Ortigas Building, in Pasig City, Metro Manila, Philippines.
Founder of Modern Pranic Healing
Grand Master Choa Kok Sui, through his research and experiments, conceptualized a comprehensive method that helps in cleansing and energizing the energy system which pervades the physical body, thus accelerating the rate at which the body can heal itself. Through his teachings and practical application of Pranic Healing, he demonstrated that energy is an important factor in healing not only the physical being but also the psyche.
GMCKS’ in-depth study of ancient esoteric sciences had led him to discover and develop practical healing techniques significant to man’s physical health and well-being, as well as to boost his spiritual potential. The study of Prana had been the domain of a select few in previous centuries. Today, in its modern version, even the young can grasp its basic concepts, and the fresh learner can both avail of and utilize its healing advantages. These simple brilliant techniques of healing have immense power to bring well-being to every household all across the world.
Most of GMCKS’ spiritual experiments were conducted along with his clairvoyant friends, Mang Nenet and Mang Mike who observed and monitored the procedure and the results of these experiments. Based on his experiments, Master Choa Kok Sui conceptualized, formulated and developed Modern Pranic Healing, as we know it today. His concepts, principles, techniques and methodologies were the result of the synthesis of deep intellectual understanding and wise intuition.
The Scientist
tudents often refer to GMCKS as a “scientist of the soul”. Master Choa Kok Sui’s educational background in the field of chemical engineering helped him in devising methods that are testable and replicable. The scientific art or the artful science of modern Pranic Healing was developed through rigorous experimentation, research and validation techniques over many years. Master Choa Kok Sui tried to reduce the gap between science and spirituality by using experimental processes that were essentially scientific in nature.
Through extensive scientific research, Grand Master developed a discipline known as the “Technology of the Soul” that has profound, far-reaching, powerful and exciting implications for the future of mankind. A portion of this philosophy is presented in Achieving Oneness with the Higher Soul, formerly known as Meditation for Soul Realization. GMCKS’ book, Universal & Kabbalistic Chakra Meditation on the Lord’s Prayer also contains some of these principles while some teachings are imparted to senior disciples and advanced students during special workshops.
GMCKS stressed on the importance of validation and proof in all his spiritual quests. He regarded spirituality as a science but an inner science that deals with phenomena deeper than and beyond the external physical world. The marriage of science and spirituality can also be seen in the modern developments as quantum physics merges with mysticism and in the fields of homeopathy, acupuncture, feng shui, chi kung and vibrational medicine among others. Pranic Healing is thus the ideal balance of science and spirituality and helps in attaining and sustaining wholesome health and success.

People often wonder how a successful businessman and an adept scientist can also be an enlightened guru. It is the perfect blending of these varied qualities that made Master Choa Kok Sui a unique spiritual teacher for our modern times. He travelled ceaselessly across the globe, teaching people from all walks of life. His distinctive quality as a teacher was his ability to cause significant shifts in the consciousness of his students. Even by the end of a two-day session, students can experience spiritual elevation, mental alertness, emotional balance and higher levels of energy.
The teaching methodology of GMCKS was essentially practical and worldly. His lessons can be learnt over a relatively short period of time and are applicable to various aspects of life. The teachings hold relevance for all his students throughout their lifetimes as Pranic Healing addresses the real needs of everyday life.
It was his belief that students are nurtured through the structure of the course. The manual is designed for students who are just ordinary people and who need to follow it step by step. Master Choa Kok Sui imparted to his students a vast amount of knowledge that was a combination of his experience and wisdom gained as a father, a self-made successful businessman, an adept scientist and a spiritual teacher.
The Author
The emphatic quality of GMCKS’ teaching style is reflected clearly in his books. The simple writing style of Master Choa Kok Sui, devoid of any clutter, is adequate proof of his uncomplicated and dynamic style of teaching. His books provide quick and deep insights into energy and its modern day applications such as in healing, good health, emotional balance, mental clarity, spiritual growth and a prosperous life. His books provide a good slice of his teachings to those unable to attend his courses. Through his writing, he wished to prepare the masses for a major shift in consciousness.
As various ancient “secrets” of esoterism are revealed to the practitioners, they get to lead lives that are fuller and more stress-free. GMCKS wrote and published 20 books that were translated into more than 27 languages and deal with the subjects of healing, spirituality and psychic self-defense among others.
Founder of Arhatic Yoga

Master Choa Kok Sui devised a system of secular multicultural practices that leads to the realization of the greater soul (or self). This system, Arhatic Yoga, was to enable the growth of those willing to tread the spiritual path. Arhatic Yoga is a wonderful synthesis of various yogic practices. This string of courses introduces methods of safely accelerating spiritual growth.
Arhatic Yoga synthesizes the spiritual path of love, intelligence and the will. It is inspired from many global traditions and uses ancient, prehistoric technologies in combinations that are unique and creative. The aim of these practices is to activate and align the Chakras and to awaken the “Kundalini Energy” or the sacred fire. In formulating these advanced meditation techniques, GMCKS intended to initiate, in every person, the development of higher intuition, advanced mental powers, emotions and the achievement of oneness and total union with the divine light.
The Healer

Master Choa Kok Sui often accepted that he was not born a healer but that he gained true mastery of Energy through his dedicated research and love for humanity. He believed in the Law of Correspondence, that states that whatever affects the energy body or aura, affects the physical body and vice versa and that whatever happens to the energy body manifests itself in the physical body.
Master Choa Kok Sui offered to heal attendees and their loved ones across all five continents. Many received instantaneous healing from both physical and psychological chronic ailments. The remarkable degree of proficiency that the Grandmaster gained in his lifetime is a true inspiration to all seeking to pursue Pranic Healing.
Philanthropist

Master Choa Kok Sui was born into a wealthy family but he was never interested in a life of luxury. His heart was filled with compassion and generosity for those who suffer from pain, poverty and lack of education.
Through the global mission of Pranic Healing, he established several humanitarian projects which feed the hungry and provide healing to the sick. He believed that if you want to inhale, you need to exhale first. When you give, you sow your seeds of prosperity and when you tithe, you need to decree that the good karma will return to you and your family manifold. He ensured that all the funds actually go to help those in need instead of covering operational costs. This ingenious approach has given the opportunity to thousands of Pranic Healers around the world to experience bliss by partaking in healing the communities they live in, thereby making the world a better place.
The Great Vision
"To have Heaven on Earth"
The vision is to produce one Pranic Healer for every family. One Arhatic yogi for every one thousand people out of the present population of about seven billion people. The target is to produce seven million Arhatic yogis.
Out of every ten Arhatic yogis one senior Arhatic yogi will be produced. A total of seven hundred thousand senior Arhatic yogis will be produced. Out of every one hundred senior Arhatic yogis the target is to produce one baby Arhat or seven thousand baby Arhats. Out of every hundred baby Arhats the target is to produce one fully matured Arhat or a great Arhat. A total of seventy fully mature Arhats or great Arhats.
Out of the seventy great Arhats hopefully three Holy Masters or three Great Ones will be produced. If this can be done within one hundred and fifty years time the world will change, be transformed and progress beyond recognition. If this objective can be accomplished, we can have “Heaven on Earth.”
